How do we do our Inspections?
Our Inspections are conducted in accordance with the latest Standards of
Practice of the American Society Of Home Inspections (ASHI). If you have
any questions about what is and what is not included, this is the best place to
start.

ASHI Standards of Practice
Effective October 15, 2006
4.1 The inspector shall:
-
inspect:
-
siding, flashing and trim.
- all exterior doors.
- attached or adjacent decks, balconies, stoops, steps, porches, and
their associated railings.
- eaves, soffits, and fascias where accessible from the ground level.
- vegetation, grading, surface drainage, and retaining walls that are
likely to adversely affect the building.
- adjacent or entryway walkways, patios, and driveways.

4.2 The inspector is
NOT required to inspect:
- screening, shutters, awnings, and similar seasonal accessories.
- fences.
- geological and/or soil conditions.

recreational facilities.
- outbuildings other than garages and carports.
- seawalls, break-walls, and docks.
- erosion control and earth stabilization measures.
